Yekeh P. Johnson
Yekeh P. Johnson, a passionate young Liberia and a 2018 graduate of the Zhejiang Normal University with a Master Degree in Public Administration with emphasis in Policies from the People’s Republic of China. He is also a 2011 graduate of the African Methodist Episcopal University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration /BBA in Accounting; In 2001, he graduated from the Monrovia, College and Industrial Training High School with a High School Diploma and WEAC Certificate.
In 2014, he obtained a professional certificate in Public Diplomacy from Rennin University, in Beijing, China; in 2013, he did another professional training in Poverty Reduction Measures and Strategies at the National Institution of Rural Development in Hyderabad, India. From August – December 2018, he Served as the National Consultant on the Basel Convention on Hazardous Wastes at the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia. From 2018 – 2019, he also worked with the Environmental Protection Agency as Assistant Manager for Policy where he developed regulatory frameworks for environmental standards and indicators and contribute to the development of environmental policy. he also provide direct policy advice and counsel to the Agency by developing an effective regulatory and fiscal strategies to support the sustainability of the environment and natural resources.
To support the developments of the Liberian Embassies and Missions around the world, from 2013- 2016, he Serviced as Coordinator in the office of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia. In 2015, he worked as Project Assistant on the CCAC –SNAP Project at the environmental Protection Agency of Liberia; from 2012-2013, he also worked as Public Awareness Officer within the Department of Inter-sectoral at the Environmental Protection Agency. In 2004 he worked as a Community Liaison & Mobilization Supervisor with Civic Initiative on the grassroots participation in the Governance of Communities’ Natural & Development resources Project.
