Gontorwon Saye Lah

Gontorwon Saye Lah is an accomplished environmental professional and project manager with deep expertise in climate change science and sustainability. Holding an MPhil in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies and a BSc in Physics from the University of Ghana, he has driven impactful environmental initiatives across West Africa. In his past and current work experience, Gontorwon coordinated and conducted black carbon assessments in Monrovia and Paynesville, supported the Liberian Methane Roadmap and Action Plan through field research, project proposals, and outreach initiatives.

Currently pursuing a Diploma in GHG Measurement, Reporting, and Verification, along with a Proficiency Course in Project-Level GHG Accounting at the GHG Management Institute, he brings cutting-edge knowledge to environmental assessments. Recently, Gontorwon completed the EPA’s biannual ESIA training, earning certification as a licensed ESIA practitioner. With skills in project management, GIS data analysis, and environmental research, Gontorwon is a vital contributor to our team, delivering high-quality Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) in Liberia.
